Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters met personally to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex twice world heavyweight champion Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will damage his features and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
Despite those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, consistently making massive paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly proceeding.
